Acceptable Use Policy

This policy outlines what's not allowed when using PincerAPI. We keep it simple: don't abuse the platform, and we'll all get along fine.

Prohibited Activities

• Scraping or abuse: Don't use our proxy endpoints to scrape data or make excessive automated requests beyond normal API usage patterns.
• Rate limit circumvention: Don't use PincerAPI to bypass rate limits imposed by upstream API providers (e.g., creating multiple accounts to multiply quotas).
• Illegal activities: Don't use PincerAPI for anything illegal in your jurisdiction or ours (Virginia, USA).
• Reverse engineering: Don't attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or probe our infrastructure, authentication systems, or billing mechanisms.
• Account abuse: Don't create automated accounts for the purpose of abuse, fraud, or circumventing restrictions.
• Harmful content: Don't use proxy endpoints to transmit malware, phishing content, or other harmful material.

Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without prior notice. Depending on severity, we may:

• Issue a warning
• Temporarily suspend API access
• Permanently terminate your account
• Report illegal activity to authorities
